A Return to Iris @ the Kodak Theatre

The Atherton Twins continue to be brilliant and are warm friendly guys in person. From the UK they are champion gymnasts and Iris is their second show in the US for Cirque du Soleil. Iris' split second timing throughout - whether it be acrobatics or comedy - is amazing. The show is every bit as thrilling as you would expect a spectacle to be - and certainly contains a pack of surprises. Iris will close January 22 to enable the Kodak to prepare for the Oscars, to be telecast from there in late February, and then reopen the middle of March. Danny Elfman's score is lush and perfectly haunting for this wild menagerie of acts.
